Synopsis/Plot
Tomorrow Never Dies is a 1997 action-adventure spy film directed by Roger Spottiswoode and produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli. The movie stars Pierce Brosnan as James Bond, the fictional British secret agent, and Michelle Yeoh as Wai Lin, a Chinese agent.
The movie’s main plot follows Bond as he attempts to stop media mogul Elliot Carver from starting World War III. Carver plans to use his media empire to provoke a naval confrontation between the United Kingdom and China, which would result in a massive media and financial windfall for him. Bond teams up with Wai Lin to stop Carver’s plan and save the world.
The movie features a number of thrilling action sequences, including a high-speed boat chase in the South China Sea, a fight between Bond and Carver’s henchman, and a daring escape from Carver’s helicopter. The movie also features a number of classic Bond gadgets, including a BMW 750iL equipped with a number of high-tech features.
