Synopsis/Plot
Tomcats is a 2001 American comedy film starring Jerry O’Connell, Shannon Elizabeth, and Jake Busey. The movie follows a group of seven friends who make a pact to stay single and make the last one of them to get married pay out a large cash prize. After years of avoiding commitment, Michael Delaney (O’Connell) finds himself in a race to the altar with his best friend Kyle (Busey). With the help of his friends, Michael must find a way to win the bet and keep the money, or risk losing it all.
The movie follows the adventures of Michael and his friends as they try to outwit each other and keep their commitment to bachelorhood. Along the way, they encounter a variety of obstacles, including a mobster, a crazed ex-girlfriend, and a mysterious woman who may or may not be a secret agent. In the end, the group learns that the most important thing in life is friendship and that true love is worth fighting for.
