Synopsis/Plot
Tom and Jerry & The Wizard of Oz is a 2011 direct-to-video animated musical fantasy comedy film starring Tom and Jerry. The film is a crossover of the Tom and Jerry cartoon and L. Frank Baum’s classic children’s novel The Wonderful Wizard of Oz, and it is the first Tom and Jerry film to be produced in 3D.
The film follows Tom and Jerry as they accompany Dorothy on her journey to the Emerald City to meet the Wizard of Oz. Along the way, they must face off against the Wicked Witch of the West and her army of flying monkeys. Along the way, they meet a number of new friends, including a talking scarecrow, a tin man, and a cowardly lion.
The film features a number of original songs, as well as classic songs from the original movie. The film also features a number of classic Tom and Jerry gags and antics, as well as a number of new ones.
