Synopsis – What to Expect from “TiMER”
TiMER is a romantic comedy that follows the story of Oona, a young woman who is fed up with the unpredictability of finding true love. In a world where technology has advanced to the point where humans can purchase a device that counts down to the moment they meet their soul mate, Oona is the only person in her family who has yet to buy a TiMER.
Oona’s older sister Steph has a TiMER that counts down to the day she will meet her soul mate, but when it reaches zero, she discovers her soul mate already has a TiMER counting down to the same day, leaving her heartbroken. With the help of her best friend Mikey, Oona begins to explore the idea of a TiMER and eventually decides to take the plunge and get one.
Once Oona purchases her TiMER, she begins to experience the ups and downs of waiting for her soul mate to appear. She meets a variety of potential mates, but none of them seem to be the one. As the days pass, Oona begins to realize that love may not be as predictable as she once thought.
In the end, Oona discovers that true love cannot be predicted and that it is something that must be experienced. She learns to appreciate the journey of finding love and the importance of taking chances. With the help of her friends and family, Oona discovers that true love can be found in the most unexpected of places.
