Synopsis – What to Expect from “Time Freak”
Time Freak is a 2018 romantic science-fiction comedy film directed by Andrew Bowler and starring Asa Butterfield, Sophie Turner, Skyler Gisondo, and Aubrey Reynolds.
The film follows the story of Stillman (Asa Butterfield), a socially awkward genius inventor who is determined to build a time machine after his girlfriend Debbie (Sophie Turner) breaks up with him. After months of hard work, he finally succeeds in creating a time machine and is able to travel back in time.
Stillman uses his time machine to go back and fix all the mistakes he made in his relationship with Debbie and to try to win her back. He goes back in time to change the events that led to their break-up and to make sure that things turn out differently this time. He also uses his time machine to fix other mistakes he has made in his life.
However, Stillman soon discovers that time travel does not always work out the way he plans and his attempts to fix things often have unexpected and disastrous results. He also discovers that time is not a toy to be played with and that it can have serious consequences.
In the end, Stillman learns that he must accept responsibility for his actions and that he cannot change the past. He also learns to appreciate the present and to make the best of it. Ultimately, he discovers that the only way to truly win back Debbie’s love is to be honest and genuine.
