Synopsis/Plot
Thunderstruck is a 2012 family comedy film directed by John Whitesell and starring Taylor Gray, Nathan Gamble, and Jim Belushi. The film follows Brian (Gray), a teenage basketball player who is obsessed with the game and dreams of one day becoming a professional player. When he makes a wish to be like his hero, NBA superstar Kevin Durant, his wish comes true – but with a twist. Brian is suddenly able to switch bodies with Durant and must use his newfound powers to help the Oklahoma City Thunder win the NBA championship.
Thunderstruck follows Brian as he learns to navigate the world of professional basketball while trying to keep his identity a secret. Along the way, he meets a colorful cast of characters, including Durant’s agent, his teammates, and a female sports reporter who is determined to uncover the truth behind the mysterious switch. With the help of his family and friends, Brian must find a way to use his newfound powers to help the Thunder win the championship and get his own life back.
