Synopsis/Plot
Thunder Force is an action-packed superhero comedy directed by Ben Falcone, starring Melissa McCarthy and Octavia Spencer. The movie follows two estranged childhood friends, Emily and Lydia, who reunite after Emily develops superhuman abilities. Emily and Lydia team up to become the first-ever superhero duo, Thunder Force. With Emily’s newfound strength and Lydia’s intelligence, the two must join forces to take on the super-villains of Chicago and save the city from the forces of evil.
The movie is set in a world where superpowers are real, and a powerful criminal organization known as The Crab has been terrorizing the city.
