Synopsis – What to Expect from “Three O’Clock High”
Three O’Clock High is a 1987 comedy about a high school student named Jerry Mitchell (Casey Siemaszko), who finds himself in a life-or-death situation when he is challenged to a fight by the school bully, Buddy Revell (Richard Tyson). Jerry must find a way to survive the fight, which is scheduled for 3:00 PM, or risk being expelled from school.
The morning of the fight, Jerry desperately tries to find a way out of the situation, but is unable to. His principal, Mr. Clark (Jeffrey Tambor), is aware of the situation, but refuses to intervene. With no other choice, Jerry must prepare for the fight.
Meanwhile, Buddy is determined to win the fight and has been training hard for it. He even goes so far as to hire a professional boxer to help him prepare.
As the day of the fight draws closer, Jerry’s anxiety and fear increase. He begins to worry that he may not be able to survive the fight. He also begins to realize that Buddy is more than just a bully; he is a dangerous and powerful opponent.
When the day of the fight arrives, Jerry musters up the courage to face his opponent. With the help of his friends, Jerry is able to survive the fight and ultimately defeats Buddy.
