Synopsis/Plot
Three Fugitives is a 1989 comedy film directed by Francis Veber and starring Nick Nolte, Martin Short, and Sarah Rowland Doroff. The film tells the story of Lucas, a bank robber on the run from the law. After a botched robbery, Lucas finds himself on the run with his hostage, Ned Perry, an inept bank teller. As they make their escape, they are joined by Meg, a young girl who is desperate to find her father. Together, the three fugitives must evade the police and find a way to get Meg to her father.
The film follows the trio as they travel across the country, outwitting the police at every turn. Along the way, they encounter a number of colorful characters, including an eccentric millionaire, a bumbling detective, and a pair of hapless thugs.
