Synopsis – What to Expect from “Thrashin'”
Thrashin’ is a classic 80s teen drama directed by David Winters. The movie follows the story of a young skateboarder named Corey Webster (Josh Brolin) who moves to a new town with his family and quickly falls in with the wrong crowd. He meets a group of skateboarders led by the charismatic and reckless Travis (Robert Rusler) and they quickly become best friends.
Corey soon finds himself in a rivalry with the local skateboarding gang, led by the arrogant and dangerous Knife (Chris Nash). Despite the warnings of his family and friends, Corey continues to hang out with Travis and his gang, eventually joining them in their reckless and dangerous stunts.
Things take a turn for the worse when Knife challenges Corey to a skateboarding competition. In order to win, Corey must compete in a downhill race against Knife and his gang. Despite his friends’ warnings, Corey accepts the challenge and the race is set.
On the day of the race, Knife and his gang show up with an arsenal of weapons and a plan to take out Corey and his friends. Despite the danger, Corey and his friends are determined to win the race and prove their worth. In the end, Corey and his friends come out on top, proving that they are the best skateboarders in town.
