Synopsis – What to Expect from “This Town Still Talks About You”
This Town Still Talks About You is a 2022 drama that follows the story of a small town in the Midwest and its inhabitants.
The movie opens with a funeral in the small town of Creekville, a place that time has forgotten. We meet the townspeople, including the local pastor, the sheriff, the mayor, and the town’s most beloved resident, an elderly woman named Mrs. Johnson.
The funeral is for Mrs. Johnson’s daughter, who died in a car accident. Mrs. Johnson is inconsolable, and the townspeople are sad to see her go.
After the funeral, the townspeople start to talk about Mrs. Johnson’s daughter, who was a wild child and a bit of a troublemaker. They remember her fondly, and they all have stories to tell about her.
One of the townspeople, a young man named Jack, takes a special interest in Mrs. Johnson’s daughter. He starts to investigate her life and discovers that she had a daughter of her own, who was taken away from her when she was a teen.
Jack decides to track down the daughter and reunite her with Mrs. Johnson. He travels to a nearby city and finds the daughter, who is now an adult. She is reluctant to return to Creekville, but Jack convinces her to come back.
