Synopsis/Plot
Third Person is a 2013 romantic drama written and directed by Paul Haggis. The film follows three intersecting love stories that take place in Rome, Paris, and New York City.
In Rome, a former journalist, Anna (Olivia Wilde), meets a charming American businessman, Michael (James Franco). As they fall in love, Anna discovers that Michael is hiding a dark secret from her.
In Paris, a struggling writer, Rick (Liam Neeson), embarks on an affair with a mysterious woman, Monika (Moran Atias). They form an intense bond, but their relationship is tested when Rick’s ex-wife (Kim Basinger) and daughter (Mila Kunis) enter the picture.
Finally, in New York City, a married couple, Julia (Adrien Brody) and Scott (Toby Jones), is struggling with the aftermath of an affair. As they try to rebuild their relationship, they must confront the secrets they have kept from each other.
Third Person is a complex and emotionally charged film that examines the complexities of relationships and the power of love. The film is beautifully shot and features strong performances from its talented cast.
