Synopsis – What to Expect from “Their Finest”

Their Finest is a 2017 British romantic comedy-drama set in London during World War II. The film follows Catrin Cole (Gemma Arterton), a Welsh copywriter who is hired by the British Ministry of Information to write female-focused dialogue for propaganda films.

Catrin is teamed up with a gruff but talented screenwriter, Tom Buckley (Sam Claflin), to write a film about the Dunkirk evacuation. Despite their differences, Catrin and Tom develop a close bond as they work together.
