He lives on a ranch in Montana with his parents, a cowboy and a scientist. His parents are unaware of his extraordinary intelligence and treat him like any other child.
T.S. Spivet is an imaginative and creative boy who loves to invent things. He has built a perpetual motion machine, a hovercraft, and a time machine. He also dreams of one day attending the Smithsonian Institute in Washington D.C.
One day, T.S. Spivet receives a letter from the Smithsonian Institute, inviting him to present his perpetual motion machine at their annual conference. T.S. Spivet is determined to make the journey to Washington D.C. and prove to the world that he is a genius.
T.S. Spivet embarks on an epic journey across America, meeting a variety of colorful characters along the way. He encounters a mysterious drifter, a blind railroad engineer, and a kind-hearted waitress. With the help of these new friends, T.S.
