Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Yards”
The Yards is a 2000 crime drama directed by James Gray. It stars Mark Wahlberg, Joaquin Phoenix, Charlize Theron, and James Caan.
The story follows Leo Handler (Wahlberg), a young man who has just been released from prison after serving time for a minor offense. He returns to his old neighborhood in Queens, New York, and is quickly drawn back into the criminal lifestyle he had left behind.
