Synopsis/Plot
The Wrong Missy is a 2020 American romantic comedy film directed by Tyler Spindel and starring David Spade, Lauren Lapkus, and Nick Swardson. The film follows Tim Morris (David Spade), a middle-aged businessman who accidentally invites the “wrong Missy” (Lauren Lapkus) to his company’s corporate retreat.
Tim, a lonely and unlucky-in-love executive, is all set to meet his dream girl, “Missy” (Molly Sims), whom he met on a dating site. But when he invites her to his company’s corporate retreat, he discovers that he has accidentally invited his former high school nightmare, also named Missy (Lauren Lapkus).
The wrong Missy is a wild, unpredictable, and uncontrollable force of nature, who quickly turns the retreat upside down. As Tim desperately attempts to get rid of her, he finds himself in a series of outrageous predicaments, all while trying to win the heart of the real Missy.
