Synopsis/Plot
The World’s Fastest Indian is a 2005 biographical sports drama film directed by Roger Donaldson and written by Roger Towne and Timothy Doyle. The film stars Anthony Hopkins in the lead role of Burt Munro, a New Zealander who sets a land speed record on an Indian Scout motorcycle at the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah.
The film tells the story of Burt Munro, a man in his sixties who has spent his life perfecting his classic Indian Scout motorcycle. He dreams of going to the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah to try to set a world land speed record. After selling most of his possessions to finance the trip, he sets off on a journey across the United States. Along the way, he meets a variety of people who help him with his quest, including a young mechanic who helps him make modifications to his bike.
When he finally reaches the Salt Flats, Burt is determined to break the world land speed record. He faces numerous obstacles, including the weather, the terrain, and the fact that he is racing against much more powerful bikes. However, with the help of his friends, he is able to make the necessary modifications and adjustments to his bike
