Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Wedding Year”
The Wedding Year follows the story of Mara Hickey (Sarah Hyland), a young woman who is determined to remain single and avoid marriage at all costs. After her best friend, Kate (Jenna Dewan), gets engaged, Mara decides to make a pact with her other single friends to stay single for a year and enjoy their freedom.
Mara embarks on a rollercoaster of dating, partying, and self-discovery, while struggling to keep her pact with her friends. However, when she meets a charming and handsome man named Nick (Tyler James Williams), her resolve is tested. Despite her initial hesitation, Mara finds herself drawn to Nick and the two begin a relationship.
