Synopsis/Plot
The War with Grandpa is a 2020 American family comedy directed by Tim Hill and starring Robert De Niro, Uma Thurman, Rob Riggle, and Oakes Fegley. The film follows sixth-grader Peter (Fegley) who is forced to give up his bedroom to his recently widowed grandfather, Ed (De Niro), who moves in with Peter’s family. Determined to get his room back, Peter declares war on his grandfather. With the help of his friends, Peter devises outrageous pranks to force his grandfather to surrender the room, but Grandpa Ed is equally determined to win the battle. As the fight escalates, the two begin to understand and appreciate each other in a way they never had before.
