Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Veteran”
The Veteran is a 2011 British crime thriller film directed by Matthew Hope and starring Toby Kebbell, Brian Cox, Adi Bielski, and Tom Hardy. The film follows a troubled veteran of the British Armed Forces, Robert Miller (Kebbell), who is suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder and struggling to adjust to civilian life.
Robert is a former soldier who has seen too much in his time in the military. He is haunted by his past and is unable to move on with his life. He is estranged from his family and is living in a run-down flat. With no job and no prospects, he takes a job as a night security guard.
Robert soon discovers that his job is not as straightforward as it seems. He is sent to investigate a series of strange occurrences at a disused warehouse. As he delves deeper into the mystery, he discovers that the warehouse is being used by a group of criminals to store and distribute illegal weapons.
Robert finds himself in the middle of a dangerous situation, and he must use all of his military training to survive. He soon realizes that the criminals are part of a larger criminal network, and that he is the only one who can stop them.
With the help of an old army buddy, Robert sets out to take down the criminal network and to protect the innocent people who are being used by the criminals. Robert soon finds himself in a fight for his life as he battles the criminals
