Synopsis/Plot
The Vatican Tapes is a 2015 supernatural horror film directed by Mark Neveldine. It follows the story of Angela Holmes, a young woman who, after a seemingly innocent exorcism, goes on a horrifying journey to save herself and her loved ones from the grips of an ancient, malevolent force.
Angela is a normal 27-year-old woman until she begins to have strange and violent fits of rage. After a series of medical tests, it is revealed that she is possessed by a powerful and ancient demonic force. The Vatican is called in to perform an exorcism, but the ritual fails and the demon is released. Angela’s life quickly spirals out of control as the demon wreaks havoc on her life and those around her.
The Vatican dispatches Father Lozano, an elderly priest with a mysterious past, to investigate and help Angela. He discovers a powerful relic, the Vatican Tapes, which contain secrets about the demon and its origin. With the help of a skeptical doctor, Father Lozano must battle the demon to save Angela and the world from its evil plans.
