Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Trial of the Incredible Hulk”
The Trial of the Incredible Hulk is a 1989 American television film based on the Marvel Comics character the Hulk. It is the second of three television films based on the character and follows the events of the television series The Incredible Hulk.
The film begins with Bruce Banner (Bill Bixby) on the run from the law. He is hiding out in a small town, trying to keep a low profile and find a way to rid himself of the Hulk. However, his luck runs out when he is framed for a crime he didn’t commit.
Banner is arrested and put on trial for the crime. He is defended by the brilliant attorney Matt Murdock (Rex Smith), who is also the alter ego of the superhero Daredevil. Murdock is determined to prove Banner’s innocence, but the odds are stacked against him.
Meanwhile, David Banner (Lou Ferrigno), Bruce’s estranged father, is also on the run. He has been tracking his son’s whereabouts and is determined to help him. He eventually teams up with Murdock and the two of them work together to prove Bruce’s innocence.
The trial is a difficult one, and Banner’s fate hangs in the balance. The prosecutor (John Rhys-Davies) is determined to prove Banner guilty, and the jury is not sympathetic to his plight. But with Murdock’s help, Banner is finally able to prove his innocence and is exonerated.
The film ends with Banner
