Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Transfiguration”
The Transfiguration is a 2016 horror movie about a teenage boy named Milo, living in a rough New York City neighborhood. Milo is a loner, living with his older brother Lewis, and struggling with his own dark impulses.
Milo is also a vampire fan, and is obsessed with vampire movies and literature. He believes that he can become a vampire himself, and sets out to prove it. He begins to stalk his neighbors and drink their blood, and his behavior quickly spirals out of control.
When Milo meets Sophie, a mysterious girl who has recently moved to the neighborhood, he finds a kindred spirit and begins to open up to her. But when Sophie discovers the truth about Milo’s dark desires, she is horrified and flees.
Milo’s brother Lewis soon realizes what his brother is doing and tries to intervene, but it’s too late. Milo is determined to become a vampire and won’t be stopped. He begins to hunt down Sophie, determined to make her his first victim.
The Transfiguration is a dark and intense story about the power of obsession and the dangers of giving in to our darkest desires. As Milo’s obsession grows, the stakes become higher and higher, and the consequences of his actions become more and more dire. In the end, Milo must face the consequences of his actions and confront the darkness within himself.
