The Toxic Avenger Part II is a 1989 American superhero comedy-horror film directed by Lloyd Kaufman and Michael Herz. The movie is a sequel to the 1984 cult classic The Toxic Avenger.
The movie follows Melvin, the lovable mop-wielding hero, as he leaves Tromaville and embarks on a journey to Tokyo in search of his long-lost father. Unfortunately, Melvin’s father has been kidnapped by the evil Yakuza crime family and Melvin must find a way to save him.
Meanwhile, the Yakuza crime family has plans of their own. They plan to use Melvin’s father to create a chemical weapon that will give them control of the world.
In Tokyo, Melvin is aided by his new friends, a group of martial arts experts. With their help, Melvin must battle the Yakuza and their henchmen, as well as a mysterious new enemy, the mysterious “Master Blaster”.
