Synopsis/Plot
The Three Stooges is a 2012 American slapstick comedy film based on the classic comedy trio of the same name. Written and directed by the Farrelly brothers, the film stars Sean Hayes, Chris Diamantopoulos, and Will Sasso as Larry, Moe, and Curly, respectively, three orphans who are adopted by an orphanage run by nuns. The trio’s mischievous antics soon land them in trouble, and they are forced to perform a series of odd jobs to pay off their debt.
The Three Stooges is jam-packed with classic gags and slapstick humor, as the trio stumble their way through a variety of jobs, from janitors to stuntmen. Along the way, they encounter a variety of colorful characters, including a scheming vaudeville promoter, a bumbling villain, and a beautiful heiress. In the end, the Stooges must use their wit and ingenuity to save an orphanage from being shut down by a greedy land developer.
