Synopsis/Plot
The Three Caballeros is a 1944 American animated musical package film produced by Walt Disney and released by RKO Radio Pictures. The film is a sequel to the 1942 film Saludos Amigos and follows the continuing adventures of Donald Duck, José Carioca, and Panchito Pistoles.
The film opens with Donald Duck receiving a package from his friend José Carioca, the parrot from Brazil, which contains a gift of three presents from his friends in Latin America. The first present is a film projector, which shows him a documentary about birds of the region. The second present is a book with a pop-up map of Latin America, which Donald uses to explore the region with his friends. The third present is a pinata, which Donald and his friends use to have a lively Mexican celebration.
The Three Caballeros then take a musical trip to various countries in Latin America, including Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, and Panama. Along the way, they meet a variety of characters, including a dancing bull, a playful aracuan bird, and a flirtatious burro. They also visit a carnival in Rio de Janeiro and a bullfight in Mexico.
