Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Sword and the Sorcerer”
The Sword and the Sorcerer is a 1982 action-fantasy film directed by Albert Pyun and starring Lee Horsley as the titular character, a warrior-sorcerer named Talon.
The story follows Talon as he seeks revenge against the evil sorcerer, Xusia, who murdered his family. Talon soon discovers that Xusia is using an ancient magical sword to take control of the kingdom of Ehdan. With the help of a beautiful princess and a mysterious wizard, Talon must find a way to stop Xusia and reclaim the kingdom.
The film begins with Talon leading a group of warriors to take revenge on Xusia. They are ambushed and Talon is the only survivor. He then embarks on a quest to find Xusia and avenge his family.
Talon soon meets a beautiful princess named Alana who helps him on his quest. They travel to the kingdom of Ehdan where they are met by a mysterious wizard named Cromwell. Cromwell tells them that Xusia is using an ancient magical sword to control the kingdom.
Talon and Alana then set off to find the sword before Xusia can use it to take control of the kingdom. Along the way, they face many obstacles, including a giant cyclops and an army of undead warriors.
Finally, Talon and Alana reach the sword and battle Xusia in a climactic duel.
