Synopsis/Plot
The Sweeney is a 2012 British crime action film directed by Nick Love and starring Ray Winstone, Ben Drew, and Plan B. The film is based on the 1970s British television series of the same name.
The film follows Jack Regan (Winstone), an experienced detective and leader of the Flying Squad, an elite crime-fighting unit of the London Metropolitan Police. His team is tasked with tackling the most serious and violent crimes in the city. Regan is a no-nonsense, hard-hitting cop who is willing to bend the rules and take matters into his own hands in order to get results.
The film follows Regan and his team as they investigate a series of violent robberies and discover a link to a ruthless gang of criminals. As they close in on the gang, they find themselves in a dangerous and deadly game of cat and mouse.
