Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Super”
The Super is a 2018 American horror-thriller film directed by Stephan Rick and written by John J. McLaughlin. The film stars Patrick John Flueger, Val Kilmer, and Paul Sorvino.
The Super tells the story of Lou (Patrick John Flueger), a down-on-his-luck building superintendent who takes a job as the super of a dilapidated apartment complex in the heart of New York City. Little does he know that the building is home to a sinister force that has been lying dormant for decades, waiting for the perfect moment to strike.
As Lou begins to settle into his new job, strange things start to happen. He hears strange noises coming from behind the walls, and the tenants of the building start to act strangely. Lou soon discovers that the building is haunted by a powerful demonic entity known as the Super, an ancient being that has been waiting in the shadows for centuries for the perfect moment to unleash its terror.
With the help of an eccentric priest (Val Kilmer) and a mysterious tenant (Paul Sorvino), Lou must face the Super and put an end to its reign of terror before it destroys the city. As the Super grows stronger, Lou must use all of his wits and courage to save the city from the Super’s clutches.
