Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Son of Kong”
The Son of Kong is a 1933 American pre-Code fantasy-adventure film, and a sequel to the 1933 film King Kong.
The film begins with Carl Denham, the filmmaker from the first film, and his crew returning to Skull Island to search for the missing Kong. When they arrive, they discover that Kong has died and that his son, a much smaller version of the original, has taken his place.
Denham and his crew soon befriend the Son of Kong, who leads them on an adventure through the island. Along the way, they encounter giant spiders, a giant octopus, and a giant sea serpent. They also find a hidden temple filled with treasure.
The crew eventually makes it back to New York City with the Son of Kong in tow. However, the city is not welcoming and the Son of Kong is soon captured by a greedy circus owner. Denham and his crew must then come up with a plan to rescue the Son of Kong and return him to his home on Skull Island.
The Son of Kong is an action-packed adventure that follows the journey of Denham and his crew as they battle giant monsters and attempt to rescue the Son of Kong. It is an entertaining sequel to the original King Kong and is sure to be a hit with audiences of all ages.
