Synopsis/Plot
The Sitter is a 2011 American comedy film starring Jonah Hill as Noah Griffith, a slacker college student who takes a job as a babysitter for the wild and unpredictable kids of a single mother, Marisa (Ari Graynor). When Marisa is called away on business, Noah takes the kids on an adventure he never expected and learns some valuable lessons along the way.
Noah is a college student who is looking for a way to make some money. When he meets Marisa and her three kids, Slater (Max Records), Blithe (Landry Bender) and Rodrigo (Kevin Hernandez), he takes on the job of babysitting them. At first, Noah is overwhelmed by the kids’ wild behavior but soon learns to manage them. He also learns to appreciate them and even starts to enjoy their company.
Noah’s first night as a babysitter doesn’t go as planned. Marisa’s ex-boyfriend, Karl (Sam Rockwell), shows up at the house and demands money that Marisa owes him. In a fit of rage, Karl takes Slater and Rodrigo with him, leaving Noah and Blithe behind. Noah quickly realizes he must do something to save the kids.
