Synopsis/Plot
The Sentinel is a 2006 American action thriller film directed by Clark Johnson and starring Michael Douglas, Kiefer Sutherland, Eva Longoria, Kim Basinger and Martin Donovan. The film follows a Secret Service agent (Douglas) who is assigned to protect the President of the United States (Donovan) and discovers a sinister conspiracy within the agency.
The story begins with Secret Service agent Pete Garrison (Douglas) being assigned to protect President Ballantine (Donovan). Garrison is an experienced agent who has been with the agency for many years and is well respected. However, his performance has been slipping lately and he is being monitored by his superiors.
Meanwhile, Garrison begins to uncover a sinister conspiracy within the agency. He discovers that a mole has been planted within the agency to assassinate the President. Garrison quickly realizes that he is the only one who can stop the assassination and he must act fast.
Garrison begins to investigate the case and soon finds himself in a race against time to save the President. He must use all of his skills and resources to stop the assassination and save the President.
