Synopsis/Plot
The Sentinel is a 2006 American action-thriller film directed by Clark Johnson and starring Michael Douglas, Kiefer Sutherland, Eva Longoria, Kim Basinger, and Martin Donovan. The plot follows Secret Service agent Pete Garrison (Douglas), who is framed for the assassination of the President of the United States. Garrison must clear his name and stop the real assassin before it is too late.
The film begins with Secret Service agent Pete Garrison (Michael Douglas) being framed for the assassination of the President of the United States. He is quickly dismissed from the agency and must clear his name before it is too late. He discovers that the real assassin is a former Secret Service agent, David Breckinridge (Kiefer Sutherland), who is now working for a powerful group of international terrorists.
Garrison teams up with a young rookie agent, Jill Marin (Eva Longoria), to uncover the truth and stop the assassination. As they investigate, they uncover a conspiracy involving the highest levels of government and a powerful group of international terrorists. In order to save the President and clear his name, Garrison and Marin must race against time to find the real assassin and stop the assassination before it is too late.
