The Second Jungle Book: Mowgli & Baloo is a 1997 live-action adventure film directed by Stephen Sommers. It is based on Rudyard Kipling’s classic stories about Mowgli, a young boy raised in the wild by a pack of wolves.
The film begins with Mowgli (Jamie Williams) living in the jungle with his animal friends, including Baloo the bear (John Cleese). Mowgli is content with his life, but he is also curious about the human world.
One day, Mowgli’s curiosity gets the best of him and he follows a group of humans into the village. He is quickly captured and held captive by the village chief, Buldeo (Roddy McDowall). Buldeo is determined to make Mowgli a part of his village, but Mowgli is determined to return to the jungle.
With the help of Baloo and his other animal friends, Mowgli escapes and returns to the jungle. But his adventure is far from over. Mowgli soon discovers that the jungle is in danger from Shere Khan ( Cary Elwes), a vicious tiger who is determined to hunt Mowgli down.
Mowgli must find a way to protect the jungle and its inhabitants from Shere Khan. Along the way, he learns valuable lessons about courage, friendship, and loyalty. With the
