Synopsis/Plot
The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is a 2015 British comedy-drama film directed by John Madden and written by Ol Parker. The film follows the story of Sonny (Dev Patel) and Muriel (Maggie Smith), who are running the Best Exotic Marigold Hotel for the Elderly and Beautiful. The hotel is doing well, and they are looking to expand the business and open a second hotel. But when a potential investor arrives, Sonny is faced with some difficult decisions that will test his friendship with Muriel and his relationship with his fiancée, Sunaina (Tina Desai).
