The Santa Clause 2 is a 2002 American Christmas fantasy comedy film directed by Michael Lembeck. It is the sequel to the 1994 film The Santa Clause, and the second installment in The Santa Clause film series.
The film stars Tim Allen as Scott Calvin, the Santa Claus from the first film. Scott discovers that he must marry by Christmas Eve in order to remain Santa Claus. He travels to the North Pole to find a suitable wife, but his plans are complicated by the mischievous Jack Frost, who has been trying to take over the North Pole and replace Santa.
The film also stars Elizabeth Mitchell as Carol Newman, the woman Scott falls in love with; Eric Lloyd as Charlie Calvin, Scott’s son; Judge Reinhold as Dr. Neil Miller, Charlie’s stepfather; Wendy Crewson as Laura Miller, Charlie’s mother; David Krumholtz as Bernard the Elf; Spencer Breslin as Curtis the Elf; and Michael Dorn as the Toy Santa.
The film follows Scott as he attempts to find a wife in time for Christmas, while also dealing with Jack Frost’s attempts to take over the North Pole. Along the way, Scott discovers the importance of family and learns the true meaning
