Synopsis/Plot
The Rage: Carrie 2 is a 1999 American supernatural horror film directed by Katt Shea and starring Emily Bergl, Jason London, Dylan Bruno, and Mena Suvari. It is a sequel to the 1976 horror classic, Carrie.
The film follows Rachel Lang, a troubled teenage girl who is an outcast at her high school. When her best friend, Lisa, commits suicide due to bullying, Rachel is determined to get revenge on the bullies. She discovers that she has telekinetic powers, similar to those of Carrie White from the first movie. With her newfound powers, Rachel begins to exact her revenge on the bullies and those who wronged her.
The film follows Rachel as she uses her powers to take revenge on those who wronged her while also trying to cope with the trauma of her past. Along the way, she is aided by her friend, Mark, and her guidance counselor, Sue Snell, who was a survivor of the events in the first film. Rachel’s powers become more and more powerful as the film progresses, and she is eventually faced with the ultimate decision of whether to use her powers for good or for evil.
