Synopsis/Plot
The Pyramid is a 2014 horror film directed by Grégory Levasseur and starring Ashley Hinshaw, Denis O’Hare, and James Buckley. The film follows a team of archaeologists and a documentary crew as they explore a newly discovered pyramid buried deep beneath the Egyptian desert. As they venture further into the pyramid, they uncover a sinister force and must fight to survive.
The team is led by Dr. Holden (Denis O’Hare) and his daughter Nora (Ashley Hinshaw), who are both archaeologists. Along with them is a documentary crew, including the director Sunni (Christa Nicola), cameraman Fitzie (James Buckley), and sound technician Sunni’s brother, Riley (Joseph Beddelem). As they explore the pyramid, they discover a network of hidden rooms and passages, and soon become aware that they are not alone in the pyramid.
The group soon find themselves being hunted by an ancient force that has been dormant for thousands of years. As they try to make their way out of the pyramid, they are forced to confront their deepest fears and fight for their lives. With every step they take, they are pushed closer and closer to the truth of the pyramid.
