Armstrong’s intense training and dedication to the sport ultimately leads him to success, as he wins the Tour de France seven times in a row.

The film then follows Armstrong’s attempt to rebuild his life and reputation. He starts a charity, the Livestrong Foundation, to help cancer survivors, and tries to distance himself from the doping scandal.
