Synopsis/Plot
The Poseidon Adventure is an iconic 1972 disaster film directed by Ronald Neame and starring Gene Hackman, Ernest Borgnine, Red Buttons, and Shelley Winters. The film follows a group of passengers aboard the S.S. Poseidon, a luxury ocean liner that is suddenly capsized by a rogue wave on New Year’s Eve. With the ship sinking fast, the survivors must battle the raging sea and raging fires to reach the bottom of the ship and the only way out – a flooded ballroom.

The passengers include Reverend Scott (Gene Hackman), an ex-naval officer; Nonnie (Shelley Winters), an elderly woman; and Mike Rogo (Ernest Borgnine), a former firefighter who is the leader of the group.
