Synopsis/Plot
The Pale Blue Eye is a 2006 crime drama set in the early 1830s. It follows the story of a young cadet at West Point military academy, Lewis “Lew” Griffin (Gabriel Mann). Lew is a brilliant but troubled student, and is struggling to fit in with the other cadets. When a series of grisly murders occur on the campus, Lew is called upon to help investigate them. He teams up with an aging and eccentric detective, Augustus Landor (Christian Bale), who has been brought in to solve the case.
The two men form an unlikely bond as they attempt to get to the bottom of the mystery. Together, they must unravel the clues and try to uncover who is behind themurders before anyone else becomes a victim. Along the way, the two men confront their own demons and discover secrets about each other that will change their lives forever. The Pale Blue Eye is a gripping mystery that will keep readers guessing until the very end.
