The Outback is an Australian drama film released in 2012. The story follows the lives of two brothers, Jack and Charlie, who have been estranged since their father’s death. They are forced to reunite when Jack is released from prison and comes to live with Charlie on his farm in the Australian outback.
Jack and Charlie have a strained relationship, and Charlie is not happy to have his brother back in his life. They struggle to find common ground and to come to terms with the past. Jack is determined to make a new life for himself, but his criminal past and Charlie’s resentment make it difficult for him to do so.
Meanwhile, Charlie is struggling to keep the farm running. He is in debt and the bank is threatening to take the farm away from him. Jack decides to help Charlie out by finding a way to make money, but his plans are complicated by the fact that he is still on parole.
The brothers must learn to work together and put their differences aside in order to save the farm. Along the way, they discover the true meaning of family and friendship. They also come to terms with the death of their father and the secrets that he left behind.
