Synopsis – What to Expect from “The New Adventures of Pinocchio”
The New Adventures of Pinocchio is a 1999 fantasy-adventure film directed by Michael Anderson.
The film tells the story of Pinocchio, a puppet who is brought to life by the magical Blue Fairy. Pinocchio is taken in by Geppetto, an elderly woodcarver who has always wanted a son. Pinocchio soon discovers that he has a conscience, and that he must prove himself worthy of becoming a real boy.
Pinocchio is soon swept away by the villainous Stromboli, who plans to make a fortune by putting the puppet in his puppet show. Pinocchio is rescued by the Blue Fairy, who gives him a second chance to prove himself.
Pinocchio embarks on a series of adventures, traveling across the world and facing many dangers. Along the way, he meets a host of new friends, including the talking cricket Jiminy, the kindly puppet maker Gepetto, and the mischievous fox, Figaro.
Pinocchio must face many challenges on his quest for humanity. He must battle the sinister forces of the wicked Stromboli, the villainous Monstro the whale, and the mysterious puppet master Lorenzini.
