Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Naked Kiss”
The Naked Kiss is a 1964 American drama film directed by Samuel Fuller. The movie follows Kelly, a prostitute who moves to a small town in order to start a new life.
The movie begins with Kelly, a prostitute, leaving her home in Chicago and traveling to a small town called Grantville. She is determined to start a new life and make a fresh start. Upon arriving in Grantville, she meets Griff, a local police officer. Griff is immediately taken with Kelly and offers her a job as a nurse at the local hospital.
Kelly accepts the job and quickly finds herself in the middle of a scandal involving the hospital’s director and a young girl who is being treated there. When Kelly discovers the truth, she is outraged and decides to take matters into her own hands. She confronts the director and soon finds herself in a heated argument with him. In the end, Kelly is able to expose the truth and bring justice to the young girl.
Meanwhile, Griff and Kelly’s relationship continues to grow stronger. However, when Griff discovers Kelly’s past, he is shocked and hurt. Despite this, he still loves her and eventually comes to accept her past.
The movie ends with Kelly and Griff being happily married and living a peaceful life in Grantville. Despite the odds, Kelly was able to turn her life around and find true happiness.
