Rick Sanchez is a mad scientist who has been living with his daughter Beth and her family for some time. He has been dragging his grandson Morty along on his interdimensional adventures, much to the chagrin of Morty’s parents.
The film follows Rick and Morty on their latest misadventure. They travel to a variety of planets and dimensions, encountering a variety of aliens, robots, and other strange creatures. They get into all sorts of trouble, including getting themselves trapped in a virtual reality world, being chased by giant monsters, and being attacked by aliens.
Throughout their journey, Rick and Morty must rely on each other to survive and make it back home in one piece. Along the way, they must also learn to trust each other and work together to get out of the sticky situations they find themselves in.
