The Mirror Crack’d is a 1980 mystery film directed by Guy Hamilton and starring Angela Lansbury, Elizabeth Taylor, Rock Hudson, Tony Curtis, Kim Novak, and Geraldine Chaplin.
The film is based on the novel of the same name by Agatha Christie and follows Miss Marple (Angela Lansbury) as she investigates a murder in the quaint English village of St. Mary Mead.
The film begins with the arrival of Marina Gregg (Elizabeth Taylor), a famous Hollywood actress, who has come to St. Mary Mead to make a movie about a local murder. Miss Marple is asked to help Marina with her research, and she soon finds herself in the middle of a real-life murder mystery.
When Marina’s co-star, Lola Brewster (Kim Novak), is poisoned during the filming of a scene, Miss Marple must figure out who the killer is. With the help of her friend, Inspector Dermot Craddock (Rock Hudson), Miss Marple begins to unravel the mystery.
