Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Marksman”
The Marksman is a crime thriller set in the city of Los Angeles. It follows the story of a retired LAPD officer, John Creasy, who is hired by a wealthy Mexican businessman to protect his daughter, Pita Ramos, from a Mexican drug cartel that has kidnapped her.
The story begins with John Creasy being approached by the businessman, who offers him a large sum of money to protect his daughter. Despite his reluctance, John agrees to take the job. After arriving in Mexico, John discovers that Pita has been kidnapped by a ruthless drug cartel. He then sets out to rescue her, using his skills and experience as a former police officer.
John is able to locate the cartel’s hideout, but is soon captured by the cartel’s leader, Miguel Manzano. Manzano offers John a deal: if he helps the cartel smuggle drugs into the US, he will be allowed to take Pita home safely. John reluctantly agrees, and is sent on a mission to deliver the drugs.
John is successful in delivering the drugs, but he soon finds himself in a dangerous situation when he discovers that the cartel has no intention of releasing Pita. With the help of an old friend, John is able to rescue Pita and escape the cartel’s clutches.
John and Pita return to the US, but their troubles are far from over. The cartel follows them to Los Angeles, and John must now use all of his skills and
