Synopsis/Plot
The Man with the Iron Heart is a 2017 action thriller film directed by Cédric Jimenez and co-written by David Farr, Audrey Diwan, and Jimenez. The film stars Jason Clarke, Rosamund Pike, Jack O’Connell, Jack Reynor, and Mia Wasikowska.
The film is set in 1942 and follows the story of Czechoslovakian resistance fighter Reinhard Heydrich, nicknamed “The Hangman”. Heydrich is the main architect behind the Nazi’s “Final Solution” and is tasked by Hitler to lead the extermination of European Jews.
Heydrich is considered one of the most powerful men in Nazi Germany and is feared by all. However, a group of Czechoslovakian resistance fighters, led by Jan Kubis and Jozef Gabcik, plot to assassinate Heydrich and put an end to his reign of terror.
The Man with the Iron Heart follows the events leading up to the assassination attempt, the daring mission, and the aftermath. The film is a thrilling ride that follows the brave Czechoslovakian resistance fighters as they fight against all odds to take down one of the most powerful men in Nazi Germany.
