Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Man”
The Man is a 2005 comedy starring Samuel L. Jackson and Eugene Levy. The story revolves around a small-time con artist, Andy Fiddler (Jackson), who is hired by the FBI to pose as a notorious international arms dealer.
Andy is sent to a small town in the Midwest where he is to pose as a wealthy and powerful arms dealer. He is tasked with infiltrating a group of criminals who are working with a dangerous weapons dealer.
The FBI soon discovers that the group is planning to steal a shipment of weapons from the local military base, and Andy is sent in to stop them. He must use his wit and charm to gain the trust of the criminals and foil their plans.
Meanwhile, Andy is also trying to woo the beautiful local librarian, Denise (Levy), who is unaware of his true identity. As he gets deeper into the criminal underworld, Andy must also deal with the consequences of his deception.
The Man is a lighthearted and entertaining comedy that shows how the power of love can overcome any obstacle. As Andy navigates his way through the criminal underworld and wins the heart of Denise, he learns that even the toughest of criminals can be brought to justice.
