Synopsis/Plot
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers is the second installment in the epic fantasy trilogy based on the novels by J.R.R. Tolkien. It follows the continuing journey of Frodo Baggins and Samwise Gamgee as they make their way to Mordor to destroy the One Ring. Along the way, they are joined by the wizard Gandalf, the elf Legolas, and the dwarf Gimli, who together form the Fellowship of the Ring.
The Two Towers follows the Fellowship as they attempt to save the kingdom of Rohan from the evil forces of Saruman, the wizard who is in league with Sauron, the Dark Lord. The Fellowship is divided when Frodo and Sam go to Mordor alone, while the rest of the group attempt to rescue the kingdom of Rohan. They face many dangers along the way, including the giant spider Shelob, the treacherous Uruk-hai, and the powerful wizard Saruman.
